Courtney learned early in life the power of collective action, strong leadership, and standing up for the greater good. As the daughter of a union organizer, she was raised with strong union values—often joining her parents at community picnics and get-out-the-vote events. Long before she was old enough to cast a ballot, Courtney understood the importance of voting and felt inspired by the energy of people using their voices to shape the future.

That passion led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Psychology at Saint Joseph’s University. At St. Joe’s, Courtney immersed herself in leadership and service, joining Alpha Gamma Delta, interning at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, and coaching girls’ lacrosse at Waldron Mercy Academy. Each experience deepened her belief in the power of civic engagement and bringing people together to make a difference.

Professionally, Courtney brings that same drive for impact to her career. She worked for several years as a legal assistant, gaining experience in business, family, and intellectual property law. She later transitioned into the healthcare sector, where she has spent the last nine years at a global healthcare company. She currently serves as a Senior Manager of Operations, where she leads teams focused on efficiency, data analytics, and reporting. She helps oversee a $13 million operating budget and works directly with clients to streamline processes and deliver insights that matter. Beyond her role, she’s also chaired the company’s Philanthropy and Culture Curation Committees, promoting community involvement and an inclusive, purpose driven workplace.

Courtney and her husband — a proud Teamster and union shop steward — share a love for travel and are the devoted cat parents of two orange tabbies. Together, they’ve completed two cross-country road trips, explored 41 U.S. states, and visited countries throughout Europe and the Caribbean.

Courtney believes public service is about listening, showing up, and putting community first. She’s running to be a leader who uplifts working families, builds trust through transparency, and ensures everyone in Towamencin has a seat at the table.

“When you believe in something, you should be willing to stand up and fight for it. I believe that caring deeply about our community and standing up for what’s right is exactly what we need in local government. Leadership isn’t about avoiding tough conversations—it’s about making people feel heard and ensuring every decision puts the community first.”
